Sancho prefers Liverpool to Man Utd

Jadon Sancho would prefer a move to Liverpool over Manchester United, according to reports.

United are chasing the forward, who is considering leaving Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund.

But Dortmund want £117 million for the England international, a price the Red Devils are not willing to meet.

Discussions continue but Kicker also claims that Sancho would ideally want to sign for Liverpool, who have shown little interest in the 20-year-old.

The article states: "A decision must be made before the start of the training camp in Bad Ragaz in Switzerland (August 10), then the transfer window for BVB's top scorer closes.

"There are no fears that Sancho could force through his departure like Ousmane Dembelé (Barcelona, 2017) or Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Arsenal, 2018).

"The rumour persists anyway that the 20-year-old would rather move to Liverpool than to Manchester United because of the greater title chances. "

Man Utd end Bale interest

Manchester United have finally ended their interest in signing Gareth Bale, according to reports in the UK national media.

United have been heavily linked with the Wales star for a number of transfer windows now, but nothing has ever materialised.

And the players' wages, and refusal to take a pay cut, are said to now be an insurmountable sticking point.

Bale is happy to stay at Madrid until the end of his deal in 2022, a scenario that would cost Real £60m.

Havertz to Chelsea latest

Chelsea are confident of landing Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen.

The latest on the potential deal is that the 20-year-old midfielder wants to seal a switch by next week, according to reports.

The only issue surrounds the asking price at this stage, with Chelsea having already agreed a five-year deal which can be signed after the club agree a fee.

Chelsea would be able to secure Havertz's signature if they paid north of £90million. That is according to Bayer Leverkusen boss Peter Bosz.

Bosz told Algemeen Dagblad back in March: “He can’t be held on to next summer. That will be a transfer of €100million (£90million). What am I saying? More than €100million (£90million)!”

Coutinho courting Premier League interest

Former Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho has three interested Premier League parties at the moment ahead of next season.

Coutinho is on loan at Bayern Munich from Barcelona until the end of the season but the Brazilian is unlikely to remain in Germany.

Spanish outlet Sport claim that Arsenal, Tottenham and Leicester City have all made their interest in the 28-year-old clear, though Coutinho is expected to take time to decide his future this summer.

Tottenham close to landing Hojbjerg

Tottenham are edging closer to signing Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, per Sky Sports.

The midfielder has impressed for Southampton this past season and is courting interest aplenty.

But Spurs appear to be in pole position to sign the 24-year-old Denmark international.

Chilwell wants to leave Leicester

Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell is on the verge of telling the Foxes that he wants to leave.

Chelsea are interested in signing the defender and Mirror Football claim that he will inform Leicester of his plans this week.

City make Torres their top target

Manchester City have made Ferran Torres their top target for the summer window.

ESPN state that the 20-year-old is now at the top of Pep Guardiola's list ahead of next season.

White 'considering his future'

Finally we have an update on the future of Brighton's Ben White, who spent last season on loan at Leeds.

Sky Sports report that the defender is 'considering his future' after Leeds made it clear they want to sign him for the long haul.

MailOnline has previously claimed a deal for White would cost the Whites £20 million.
